Welcome and Thank You for your interest in the Tactical World Cup 2009. The all‐new 2009 Original S.W.A.T. Tactical World Cup, presented by Operators Edge, LLC., will be held during the week of 2 to 5 NOVEMBER at the U.S. Army Camp Bullis Training Site in San Antonio, Texas. Over forty of the world’s most elite teams will compete for the Cup this year.

The Original SWAT Tactical World Cup 2009 is open to Local, State, and Federal L.E. teams, as well as Military Special Opera&ons /Counter‐Terrorist Teams, from around the world. The competition is specifically designed to test the abilities of both individuals and teams on their tactical skill sets based on real world scenarios. This is not a sports‐based competition, it is reality‐based. Expected scenarios include common call situa&ons as well as more recent terrorist situations: barricaded suspect, hostage rescue, felony vehicle stop, sniper related missions, felony warrant service, ac&ve shooter, and counter‐terrorism missions. The competition will culminate in a force‐on‐force exercise. Also, there will be an independent sniper competition to enhance their training and skills while not working with their team.

Team fees are only $300. However, we are giving team sponsors a free vendor table and hope this incentive helps to offset all of our compe&tors’ fees. If you are currently working with a team, or are interested in working with a team, please contact Lance Bertolino at 713.805.7145.

We are expecting a very large turnout for the Competition, Vendor Show, and Product/Live‐Fire Demonstrations. San Antonio is home to thousands of military personnel from Fort Sam Houston, Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB, and, of course, Camp Bullis. Hundreds of law enforcement and correctional officers also claim San Antonio and the surrounding area home. All are encouraged to afend ‐ admission is free. Range demonstrations available with certain sponsorship packages. Educational blocks and training certifications will be provided. Note: Only a limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available, you are encouraged to contact us immediately if you wish to sponsor a training package, host a reception, or other event. Most importantly, this event is NOT FOR PROFIT and all proceeds beyond normal expenses will directly
go to THE STARS AND STRIPES FOUNDATION, benefiting wounded service members and their families.
